( MJNA ), the first publicly traded cannabis company in the United States, is pleased to announce that the Company is sponsoring the 5th Annual National Medical Cannabis Unity Conference, where executives will participate with other experts and scientists on panels focusing on new developments in medical cannabis research.

The 5th Annual National Medical Cannabis Unity Conference, taking place in Washington, D.C. from April 7-11, 2017, will focus on the creation of common-sense policies and approaches to safe medical cannabis access and use.

Medical Marijuana, Inc. Chief Executive Officer Dr. Stuart Titus will participate on an “Exciting Developments in Cannabis Research & Access” panel on Saturday, April 8, at 11:00 a.m., to discuss recent breakthroughs in medical cannabis research. In addition, hemp industry icon and first-ever EU Cannabis Cup organizer Dion Markgraaff will participate on a “Global Medical Cannabis Policy & Lessons Learned” panel on Sunday, April 9, at 9:00 a.m. and the CEO of Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s public relations firm CMW Media, Andrew Hard, will participate in a “CBD-Only States” workshop on Monday, April 10, at 4:00 p.m.
