Medical Marijuana, Inc. Featured in Entrepreneur Magazine Article Highlighting Company’s Unique Innovations in Hemp Cannabidiol (CBD) Products

Article from One of World’s Top Business Magazines Highlights Innovation and Growth of Medical Marijuana, Inc. in Mexico and the U.S.

SAN DIEGO, May 4, 2017 — Medical Marijuana, Inc. (OTC-PINK:MJNA), the first publicly traded cannabis company in the United States, is pleased to announce to shareholders and the public that the Company and its progress in both Mexico and the U.S. has been featured in a new article in Entrepreneur Magazine.

The May 3, 2017, Entrepreneur article titled “Researchers Amazed by Cases of Cannabis Helping Children Failed by Conventional Medicine” also included interviews with three families who were in attendance at the April 21-22World Medical Cannabis Conference and Expo (WMCCE) in Pittsburgh, Pa. Each family used some sort of cannabidiol (CBD) hemp oil product with their children.

“We are excited to have Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s unique innovations in hemp-based CBD products covered by Entrepreneur Magazine, one of the top business publications in the world,” said Dr. Stuart Titus, CEO of Medical Marijuana, Inc. “Our organization looks forward to initiating further research to demonstrate the potential benefits of CBD products to the medical and scientific community – we really have only scratched the surface.”

The article’s author Andre Bourque attended the WMCCE in Pittsburgh, which he describes as a “conference that delivered a refreshing perspective of the cannabis plant,” with a central theme that “cannabis heals.” Bourque writes in the article that “every triumph over disease is universally glorious but is even more powerfully affecting when those children and their families are sitting right in front of you. On stage at the WMCCE were three real-life, unique and compelling cases of miraculous results through cannabis CBD treatment.”

Bourque goes on to describe the stories of Lillyann Baker, Harper Howard, and Grace Elizalde, three children who had their families and lives transformed after using a cannabis CBD treatment.

The article also discusses the role Mexican medical cannabis activist Raul Elizalde, the father of Grace Elizalde, has played in unifying the voices of families and patients in need of medical cannabis in Mexico.

“It is immoral not to give something to a patient that can help them heal,” Elizalde was quoted as saying in the article. “Indeed, it’s a disservice to the advancement of science, as well, and the World Medical Cannabis Conference and Expo did a fine job of reinforcing that point.”

Raul Elizalde and his family were the first in Mexico to sue the federal government and win the right to import CBD hemp oil to treat their daughter Grace’s sever form of epilepsy known as Lennox-Gastaux Syndrome. Raul’s victory for his daughter created the legal precedent for other families in Mexico to gain access to CBD, including the Maldonados, who were granted the first-ever federal import permit from the Mexican government for Real Scientific Hemp Oil-X™ (RSHO-X™) for their 11-year-old daughter Alina.
