Second quarter successes, non-cannabis CBD, and a whirlwind European tour lead Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s stories this week.

Once again this week, the Medical Marijuana, Inc. family of companies was featured in major media outlets from around the country. Among these stories are product reviews, CBD events, and the value of Medical Marijuana, Inc. as a potential investment.  We included our portfolio’s biggest stories from the past week below.

Kannaway and Its Products Make Headlines

Also featured in the news this week was Kannaway’s European Tour. Canna Moments provided coverage of the company’s promotional tour, which is building up to its Europe Grand Opening this November.

“Kannaway is going on tour, bringing their Regional Events to cities throughout Europe in August. The company will be traveling to 6 cities in 10 days during this whirlwind Kannaway European Tour. Cities scheduled along the tour include Copenhagen, Oslo, Wroclaw, Bratislava, Linz, and Regensburg,” according to the article.

The European CBD market holds immense potential for companies that work to open it. “By 2028, the total cannabis industry in Europe is estimated to hit over €117 billion. €55 billion of that will be from therapeutic and medical uses of hemp and marijuana,” the article reads “CBD products like those distributed by Kannaway are legal to sell and to use throughout the EU, putting the company in good position to use its grassroots style of marketing to spread the work about the benefits of CBD.

Bustle Explores Benefits of CBD for After Workouts

Popular website Bustle recently looked at how you can add CBD to your post-workout routine to help aid recovery. An interview conducted by Men’s Health featuring Medical Marijuana, Inc. CEO Dr. Stuart Titus was used in the Bustle piece to help explain the benefits of CBD.

Bustle writes, “Titus’ research on CBD comes straight from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. ‘It actually mentions very specifically that the non-psychoactive cannabinoids like CBD are more preferable to use because you can give larger doses without any of the intoxicating or negative side effects,’ Titus told Men’s Health.”

The article concludes, “To get the most out of the [beneficial] effects of CBD, Dr. Jordan Tishler, Harvard physician and president of InhaleMD and the Association of Cannabis Specialists, told PopSugar to use a large dose and make it a consistent part of your post-work out routine, along with stretching and other recovery tactics.”
