Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s new hops-based CBD product has made waves in the media, changing the way we talk about access to CBD.
The media in the U.S. can’t get enough of Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s newest CBD product – RSHO-K™. An innovative new non-cannabis CBD source of CBD, RSHO-K™ makes CBD available to those who are looking to avoid exposure to cannabis for the first time in the Medical Marijuana, Inc. store.
Over a dozen media outlets have provided coverage of this exciting new non-cannabis CBD product, giving product reviews and revealing the interesting origin of this remarkable new product. Here are some highlights from that media coverage.
What is RSHO-K™?
RSHO-K™ is created with an extract of the Humulus kriya plant, a unique variety of hops found in India. Humulus kriya was discovered as a new source of CBD less than a decade ago by a team of doctors looking for an alternative to cannabis. It naturally contains high levels of CBD, as well as the terpenes beta-caryophyllene and humulene. The plant was selectively bred to further increase its CBD levels, creating a patented extract called ImmunAg™, the main ingredient in RSHO-K™.
Already widely used as an ingredient in the food and beverage industries, Humulus extracts are listed as GRAS – generally regarded as safe – by the FDA and is FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) approved, meaning they are available in a greater number of markets than cannabis-based products.
Some consumers are interested in taking a CBD supplement but are hesitant to use products derived from cannabis. Now, they can take CBD products sourced from Kriya brand Humulus and avoid cannabis completely. Because the CBD in RSHO-K™ is sourced from Kriya brand Humulus, a variety of the hops plant, rather than cannabis, it is also THC-free.
Since its launch, RSHO-K™ has garnered coverage in a number of media outlets interested in this exciting new product and how it will affect the rapidly growing CBD market.
A Westword article published last week examined the discovery of this non-cannabis option for CBD extraction. “Discovered by Bomi Joseph in the Silk Road region of northern India, kriya brand humulus is naturally endowed with a high concentration of CBD,” the article reads.
The article continues, “Through a partnership with distributor Medical Marijuana Inc. (which previously made headlines as the first publicly traded cannabis company in the U.S.), what’s now known as ImmunAG is combined with medium-chain triglyceride oil to form RSHO-K. Last month, Medical Marijuana Inc. made the product available to consumers nationwide via its online store.”
Medical Marijuana, Inc. CEO Dr. Stuart Titus was quoted in a Fresh Toast article that discussed RSHO-K™ saying, “non-cannabis based product will not only provide new evidence of the benefits of CBD, but will also help people understand the value of phytoceuticals. We also look to introduce and educate people/consumers on the new concept of ‘bioactivity’ into CBD’s potential health and wellness benefits.”
Cannabis news and culture website Puff Puff Post published a feature article exploring the benefits of RSHO-K™. Dr. Bomi Joseph, creator of ImmunAg™, was quoted in the article saying, ““The company has established significant global reach and together we can reach even more people who want to try CBD but don’t want to consume cannabis products.”
RSHO-K™ was reviewed on My Beauty Bunny alongside other CBD products. The article thoroughly explored CBD, its effects, and its status in the U.S. It also revealed the significance of RSHO-K™ as a source of CBD that isn’t cannabis, opening access to new markets and freeing users from exposure to even trace levels of THC.
The Marijuana Observer also covered the introduction of RSHO-K™ to the Medical Marijuana, Inc. lineup of products and explored the many features that set non-cannabis RSHO-K™ apart. Coverage was also provided by Merry Jane, Civilized, 420 Intel, Hemp Gazette, and more.
