MJNA had its largest-ever revenue month in July of 2017, backed by strong sales from subsidiaries such as HempMeds® Mexico and Kannaway®.

Kannaway® Garners Record-Breaking Revenue

In August 2017, MJNA announced that its subsidiary Kannaway® has experienced record-breaking sales since it was launched again in March 2016. The first hemp lifestyle marketing company’s revenue has grown more than 25 times between March 2016 to August 2017, and its customer base ballooned by 500 percent during that same 16-month time period.

Under the leadership of CEO Blake Schroeder, Kannaway® has also added thousands of new brand ambassadors to their team. The Company responded by initiating several programs to recognize top performers, including prize incentives, shares of Medical Marijuana, Inc. stock, and an Inaugural Elite Retreat Cruise to Mexico.

HempMeds® Brasil Hosts Educational Seminars on CBD

In an effort to further its community outreach and educational efforts aimed at doctors and patients in Brazil, Medical Marijuana, Inc. subsidiary HempMeds® Brasil hosted multiple Doctor Symposiums.

HempMeds® Brasil invited renowned medical experts and pioneers in the field like Dr. Saul Garza Moralez, pediatric researcher and neurologist in Mexico, and Dr. Stuart Titus, Chief Executive Officer of Medical Marijuana, Inc., to help introduce the company to the local medical community and educate them on the benefits of CBD and how to legally import CBD into the country and prescribe it for patients. The Company’s second such event in Sao Paulo in August was filled to capacity.

HempMeds® Mexico Becomes First Company to Have Cannabis Subsidized by Government

Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s international subsidiary HempMeds® Mexico announced in August that it had become the first company ever to have a cannabis-based product subsidized by a government in Mexico.

The government of Mexico, which legalized medical cannabis in June, purchased the company’s CBD isolate product, RSHO-X™ to treat 11 of its citizens who are diagnosed with varying conditions, including epilepsy disorders.

Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s Warehouse Expansion

To account for growing sales and the booming CBD hemp oil market, Medical Marijuana, Inc. expanded its warehouse facilities in Poway, California. MJNA quadrupled the size of its package and supply facilities to be able to process five-times more orders.
